Tuyet is an in-house counsel for the United States Postal Service. She had previously been an attorney for seven years, an alumna of UC Hastings. After being liberated from the private, big firm world, she wanted to do something meaningful with her newfound freedom. She was captivated by PbP's unique and innovative model where young volunteers collaborate to help non-profit organizations in need, with the goal of empowering the local Asian-American community. She joined as a member of the Events Production team and eventually became its manager, helping potential new leaders grow; this is her second year at PbP. Her favorite memory at PbP is when her Korean grandmother gave the Events team a step-by-step lesson on kimchi, Tuyet's favorite food! She loves it so much that when she was younger, her parents had to tape the fridge shut to prevent her from midnight snacking!
