+ What is Plate by Plate?

Plate by Plate is the annual tasting benefit hosted by Project by Project, where all the net proceeds from ticket sales are donated to that year’s beneficiary partner. + Where is Plate by Plate LA held this year?

Plate by Plate LA will be held at The City Market Social House, located at 1145 S San Pedro St., Los Angeles, CA 90015. 2

+ What are the dates and times of Plate by Plate LA?

Plate by Plate LA will be held on August 4, 2018. VIP reception begins at 6PM and General Admission begins at 7PM. The event ends at 10PM.

+ Who is this year’s beneficiary partner?

For 2018, Project by Project’s national theme is Immigration, and this year, LA is partnered with OCA-GLA! Check out Project by Project LA’s past partners here

+ Can I buy tickets at the door?

Yes, only if the event does not sell out.

+ What is included with each ticket?

General Admission ticket includes: entry into the event, unlimited food samples from over 50 restaurants and beverage purveyors, and access to our silent auction and photobooth. VIP Admission ticket includes: extra hour early entry into the event, access to VIP lounge with its own VIP bar and restaurants, unlimited food samples from over 50 restaurant and beverage purveyors, access to our silent auction and photobooth, and a special VIP Gift Bag.

+ Is there an age limit to attend this event?

Yes. Plate by Plate LA is a 21+ only event. All guests must have a valid photo ID to show at the door. No one without a valid ID will be admitted into the event. Anyone under the age of 21 will be stopped at the door, refused entry and tickets will not be refunded. Please don’t bring infants or small children in child carriers as they will not be permitted entry.

+ I’m having trouble purchasing tickets online. What do I do?

+ I have a question about a ticket purchase I have already completed. What now?

If you have questions about a completed ticket purchase transaction, please contact us at ticket.la@projectbyproject.org.

+ Are there any group discounts available?

Yes. If you want to buy 10 or more tickets, please contact us at ticket.la@projectbyproject.org for more information.

+ Can I get a refund for my ticket(s)?

No. Refunds will not be issued.

+ Can I exchange my ticket(s)?

No. Exchanges are not allowed.

+ Can I transfer my ticket(s) to someone else?

Yes. To transfer a ticket to another person, please email tickets.la@projectbyproject.org. Project by Project reserves the right to deny access to the event to any person other than the original purchaser of the ticket if the transfer was not notified to Project by Project. If access is denied, tickets will not be refunded.

+ I am media. How do I apply for media credentials?

All media outlets must email marketing.la@projectbyproject.org.

+ Where does my ticket money go?

All net proceeds from ticket sales are donated to our beneficiary partner for the year, OCA-GLA. To learn more about OCA-GLA, please visit http://oca-gla.org

+ Is the ticket tax-deductible?

Yes. Project by Project is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. A portion of each ticket is tax-deductible. The amount you paid per ticket LESS either $75 per General Admission ticket or $100 per VIP ticket, is tax-deductible, as allowed by law.

The event dress code is Formal/Cocktail attire recommended.

+ My ticket says “Early Bird Ticket” on it. Does this mean I can come early?

No. “Early Bird Ticket” refers to the pricing tier and time at which you purchased your ticket. Only VIP ticket holders will be allowed admission one hour early, at 6PM. All General Admission ticket holders will be admitted in at 7PM.
