For our 25th anniversary, we had another memorable evening featuring top chefs and 45 well-renowned restaurants and beverage vendors from all over the Bay Area, who came together and donate their talents to support local Asian American non-profits.

Through this event, we donated a total of $11,000 to our beneficiary partners.

Plate by Plate SF 2021

Plate by Plate is the oldest and largest Asian American-run tasting benefit in the nation, and the only one of its grandeur that is organized entirely by volunteers. Every year, 500+ individuals come together to enjoy an unforgettable night of gastronomic experiences and memorable conversations.

We're proud to send proceeds raised from Plate by Plate SF 2021 to our beneficiary partner, Florence Fang Community Farm (FFCF). FFCF is the largest community farm and second most productive urban farm in San Francisco. Its mission is to improve food security, increase healthy living habits, practice natural farming techniques, improve the environment, support neighborhood economic opportunity, and increase social connectedness within and between communities of color.

AAPIs for Environmental Justice

TUESDAY, APRIL 13, 2021
5:30 PM PDT

From Wall Street to Big Oil to corporations that privatize public resources, pollute our air and land, and develop unsustainable models of business, low-income communities, communities of color, and Indigenous peoples continue to bear the brunt of harm most intensely. Many Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities have historically faced environmental destructions and injustices, struggled living near toxic sites and polluting power plants, and organized at the intersections of land, housing, workplace safety, etc. Now more than ever, we feel the urgency to build towards an alternative and protect our future. What work can we do to promote environmental justice in our local communities? How do we hold corporations accountable in the global fight against rapid climate change?

One of our past partners, AAPI FORCE-EF, along with other non-profit organizations will be hosting a panel discussion about AAPI organizing environmental justice issues. Join us and learn how you can contribute concretely to progressive efforts and calls to action!

The panel will be hosted as a webinar on Zoom and broadcasted on Facebook live. Register here!
