V O T E

2020 ELECTIONS ARE COMING.

We’re here to help!

Jennifer Griffin - Vote

November 3rd is right around the corner! Your voice in voting will not only help shape many local budgets and programs, but will also encourage both our local and national representatives to listen to and enact change on behalf of their constituents. To help our API community members prepare to exercise their right to vote, we’ve compiled some resources below.

MULTILINGUAL SERVICE ASSISTANCE

  • Request for a multilingual voter information and ballot! Bilingual Assistance Hotline: 1-800-815-2666, option 3. Call this toll free number to request for translated election materials and receive assistance for other questions related to voting and voting information.

  • Request voter language assistance in-person at Vote Centers. Those who may need language assistance can receive help on Election Day at most Vote centers throughout Los Angeles County.

  • APIAVote also provides API resources in various languages! Together, APIAVote and Asian Americans Advancing Justice runs a hotline at 1-888-API-VOTE, to further provide assistance in multiple languages to those who may have questions, or would like more information about voting and elections.

VOTE BY MAIL, DROPBOX AND IN-PERSON OPTIONS

  • You can return your Vote By Mail ballot by way of the USPS for free!

  • To find the nearest Vote Centers and Official Ballot Dropboxes to you, use the Voting Information Tool provided by the California Secretary of State.
