PbP LA: CPAF Summer 65-Hr Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Advocate Training

CPAF Become an intern or volunteer and help community members through CPAF's hotline, at our shelters, and by providing education.

Receive state certification in counseling survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Summer training will be held on the following dates from 9am – 5pm:

June 15, 16, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 29, 30

Location: CPAF Community Center, Koreatown

Training covers: Examining gender roles and societal attitudes towards violence against women, what is domestic violence & sexual assault, the dynamics of power & privilege, domestic violence & sexual assault in marginalized communities including immigrants, children and teens, how to provide emotional support to survivors and link them to resources, how we can create community change, and self-care.

All are welcome! Download flyer here. $25 Materials fee for volunteers $250 40-hour domestic violence training for service providers $350 65-hour domestic violence & sexual assault training for service providers ***Enrollment is limited, internship/volunteer application & phone interview required
