Los Angeles, CA (June 20, 2018) - Project by Project – Los Angeles (PbP-LA) is pleased to announce that tickets for our annual tasting benefit, Plate by Plate, are now available to the public at www.platebyplate.org/la. For our 21st anniversary, PbP-LA has collaborated with our 2018 beneficiary partner OCA - Greater Los Angeles to raise awareness for this year’s theme: Immigration in the Asian American community. All net proceeds from our signature event will be donated to the organization’s “Mentored Path to Citizenship Program” which will help program recipients chase their dream of naturalization.
Assembling a curated list of star chefs, celebrated restaurateurs and beverage purveyors from all over Los Angeles, Plate by Plate will bring you fun, food, and philanthropy all in one night! As a new addition this year, we are excited to announce actors Michelle Krusiec and Leonardo Nam as the Co-Chairs of Plate by Plate Los Angeles 2018. Together, they will cast a spotlight on how the food we eat relates to the immigrant experiences of the chefs, cooks, and staff in the food service industry.
Plate by Plate will showcase a premier lineup gathering of over 40 of Los Angeles’ finest restaurants and beverage vendors. Returning participants will include the following: Alexander’s Steakhouse, Faith & Flower, Kato, KazuNori, Patina, Pine & Crane, Restauration, Rosaliné, Sotto, Starry Kitchen, Tsubaki, Umi by Hamasaku, and Wolf. For VIP ticket holders, Plate by Plate is thrilled to bring onboard Rossoblu and Chefs Walter and Margarita Manzke (République, Petty Cash, and Sari Sari Store).
Plate by Plate strives to select fresh and exciting bites around Los Angeles, and will be adding the following new participants to our 2018 lineup: B Sweet Dessert Bar, Broken Spanish, Gabi James, Hinoki & the Bird, Ms. Chi, Otium, Rappahannock Oyster Bar, and Tartine Manufactory. We will reveal more participating eateries on our social media outlets in the upcoming weeks.

About Project by Project
Project by Project (PbP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in New York City in 1998 by a group of young Asian American professionals. Comprised of a team of professionals with backgrounds in finance, consulting, technology, media, entertainment and law, PbP's founding team felt it could play a strong role in assisting community groups in securing capital, reaching out to new groups of volunteers and bringing greater awareness to issues affecting the Asian American community. Every year, Project by Project – Los Angeles presents our annual tasting benefit during the summer to support non-profit partners in the Asian and Pacific Islander community.
Plate by Plate is generously sponsored by local businesses and organizations throughout the Los Angeles area. For sponsorship information, or for inquiries about donation to the Silent Auction, please email fundraising.la@projectbyproject.org.
