2015 Project by Project-LA is Now Accepting Applications from Qualified Non-Profit Organizations Working in the Realm of Housing and Providing Shelter for Its 2015 Beneficiary Partner Campaign

Project by Project is currently inviting applications for our 2015 beneficiary partner campaign. Each year, PbP's local chapters (Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York) each select a non-profit community based organization that focuses (in whole in part) on issues within a selected theme and then tailors a year-long campaign to help that organization's fundraising, community outreach, and public awareness efforts. The group that PbP's Los Angeles Chapter (PbP-LA) will select will be known as PbP-LA's "beneficiary partner" for the year. PbP's theme for 2015 is affordable housing and the provision of shelter. Accordingly, non-profit organizations (i.e., IRC section 501(c)(3) groups only) that champion or provide services with respect to our 2015 theme are invited to submit applications to become PbP-LA's 2015 beneficiary partner.

Once selected, PbP-LA will work with its 2015 beneficiary partner to customize a campaign of assistance according to our beneficiary partner's needs. PbP-LA will mobilize its volunteers and diverse network of public, private and community resources to help our beneficiary partner. Past efforts have included resume-writing workshops, tutorials for immigrant children, community town hall meetings, parent-child activities to enhance community connectedness, social media and website upgrade/development to accomplish the beneficiary partner's goals.

In addition, 100% of the net proceeds from our annual signature fundraising event, the "Plate by Plate" Annual Tasting Benefit, are remitted to our beneficiary partner. The "Plate by Plate" Annual Tasting Benefit features star chefs, top rated restaurants and beverages from around the world. The well-known and well-attended event has been featured on the Top Chef cable television show and many other media outlets.

The application and additional information about our organization and projects can also be found on our website at www.projectbyproject.org.
