Berton Wang

President

Berton is a Taiwanese American born and raised from Central New Jersey. After growing up in a town with few Asian Americans, Berton has over time developed a passion for empowering the same community. He joined Project by Project as a way to give back to the community while also developing his leadership skills as a young professional. He previously served as a Co-Director of Events and a Member of the Outreach Team.
Berton graduated from Rutgers University with degrees in computer science and business analytics and currently works in business strategy at Synchrony Bank. In his free time, you can find Berton doing some type of leg sport like inline speedskating, distance running, or skiing.

Jason Chen

Finance Director

Jason joined Project by Project NY in 2021 as a member of Team & Leadership and is focused on cultivating the best member experience for the New York chapter while personally focusing on giving back to the Asian American community through volunteering. Jason grew up in New York and graduated with a degree in Finance from Baruch College and currently works for Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center on the Department of Medicine Finance team. In his spare time, he likes trying new air fryer recipes, jogging, and rooting for the NY Yankees.
